Recipe

INGREDIENTS
  • For marinade:

    • ½ cups soy sauce
    • 2 tsp sugar
    • 2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • 1 tsp green chillies, chopped
    • ½ onion, sliced
    • 5 button mushrooms
    • ½ red bell pepper, chunks
    • 1 spring onion bulbs, chopped
    • 300 gm chicken breasts, sliced
    • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
    • Water as required
    • Oil for brushing
  • For serving:

    • 1 cup rice, cooked
  • For garnish:

    • Spring onion greens, julienned
    • Sesame seeds, roasted
PREPARATION
  1. Prepare a marinade by combining soy sauce, sugar, water, ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chillies, sliced onion, mushrooms button, red bell pepper chunks, and spring onion bulbs.
  2. Slice the chicken breast into small pieces and coat well with the marinade. Drizzle some vegetable oil and mix again.
  3. Grill the marinated vegetables and chicken pieces. Meanwhile, pour the leftover marinade in a pan and heat to thicken it.
  4. Brush some oil on the chicken pieces while grilling. Grill both sides.
  5. Make a bed of cooked rice in a serving plate. Top it with the grilled chicken and vegetables. Add some thickened sauce on top of dak bulgogi. Garnish with julienned spring onion greens and some roasted sesame seeds.
