INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup Curd
  • 2 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp onion paste
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup chicken pieces
  • 4 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 ts black pepper powder
  • 1 cup tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Fresh cream
  • Sugar to taste
  • 2 tsp green chillies
  • 2 tsp ginger
PREPARATION
  1. To marinate: In a bowl, mix curd, cumin powder, coriander powder, Kashmiri red chilli powder, onion paste, ginger garlic paste, salt and lemon juice. Then, add the boneless chicken pieces and mix them well to ensure that all the pieces are coated with the marinade. Let it rest for a few hours.
  2. Once the chicken is ready to be cooked, melt some butter in a saucepan, and toss in the chicken. Keep cooking till the meat is soft and flavourful.
  3. For the gravy: In a kadai, add red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and black pepper powder. Then, add chopped tomatoes, salt, sugar and fresh cream. Cook the gravy on low flame.
  4. Transfer the cooked chicken into the gravy. Add green chillies and chopped ginger and mix the contents well. Cover the kadai with a lid and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes.
